【特徴】
Durum Wheats have seeds a bit larger than bread wheat. They are used in the production of pasta and it is also often the preferred wheat for wheat weaving. Bread wheat is the result of a cross between a wild goatgrass, Aegilops tauschii, and a cultivated wheat, probably macaroni wheat (Triticum durum). Genetics suggests this cross took place in the Caspian region of Iran; archaeology suggests that this took place about 9,000 years ago.
