カナダの研究所からの古代小麦の種で、国内では見つかりません。　成熟したらブルーになる大変美しい小麦です。　光の加減で青く見えるので、Blue Wheatという品種名にもなっています。　

誤解が無いように、英文をそのまま記載します。　

古代小麦は初心者には栽培が難しいので、きちんと理解されている方だけご購入ください。　

【特徴】
This wheat is extremely rare blue heritage variety of wheat from Holland. This variety is also well suited for ornamental use. The kernels turn a bluish grey, almost metallic looking color, with long black awns. The kernels are difficult to clean for flour, but they are edible.

Plant this wheat in any good garden soil with good drainage. Provide plenty of moisture and full sun. The clusters may be broken into single seeds, or planted as is directly in the ground. Sow the seeds in spring about ¼” deep in rows at least 12” apart. Protect the seed plot from birds. Harvest by cutting the stalks at ground level when the ripening foliage is still slightly streaked with green to prevent the seeds from shattering. For ornamental use, tie the stalks in bundles and hang them upside down in a dry place out of bright light until they are completely dry. Store the stalks in moisture and mouse proof containers in a dry, dark place.
